CHATEAU DE LA FOLTIERE

The Château de la Foltière, a large residence on two floors, dates from the first half of the 19th century; it is situated close to Mont Saint Michel and the medieval town of Fougères. The south side features a main, projecting, central facade while the north side has two projecting side facades. Five spacious, comfortable and excellently appointed bedrooms occupy the first floor. These offer magnificent views over 20 hectares of parkland which includes 15 outstanding gardens. The rooms are served by a lift and monumental staircase leading from a large hallway with coffered ceiling.
